Today’s IntelFusion FLASH Traffic takes a closer look at the increasing popularity of two P2P based addons for vKontakte.ru and VK.com: MyFiles and VKTracker. The former allows members of Russia’s very popular Facebook clone Kontakte to share designated files from their computer with their Kontakte friends, while the latter is a Torrent application for sharing movies and music. DST has international aspirations for its social software services and Kontakte is one of its top performers. InfoSec folks should take notice because once VK.com goes global, similar apps for Facebook may not be far behind.
